The Windows 7 Family Pack is a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium that you can install on up to three PCs in your home. Windows 7 Family Pack discourages piracy, plain, pure and simple and meets the real world consumer expectation that one Windows copy should be installable on more than one PC.  It includes both 32-bit and 64-bit installation discs.

Family Pack wasn’t a permanent  deal offered my Microsoft to Windows7 in the fall of 2009. It was carrying  the purpose to drive excitement and demand around Windows7 as long as supplies permit. Then in December Widows 7 family pack was sold out.Though that same summer Family pack was actually confirmed by referencing it in the licensing terms of Widnows7.
